HAD A BLAST RAISING FUNDS + AWARENESS AT THE 1st-ANNUAL VERN GLENN INVITATIONAL

When my long-time friend and Juggling for Jude supporter, KPIX Sports Director Vern Glenn asked me to juggle at his first-annual celebrity invitational golf tournament in Oakland, I was excited and honored. Vern and I go way back to when I was 10, and he covered my story for a KPIZ feature. I was thrilled be part of his tournament raising money for children and families in need in the Bay Area, and grateful that I was able to do some Juggling for St. Jude, as well!

I loved seeing some other old friends, as well, especially former professional soccer players Chris Wondolowski and Shea Salinas from the San Jose Earthquakes, whom I’d met and juggled with at a team training at age 10! Shea had supported St. Jude on his own, and together we raised some awareness about pediatric cancer. I’ve got some fun clips of juggling and chatting with Shea and “Wondo” from years ago, and it was great to see them again so many years later!

And of course, it was great to see Bob Hammer of the HaveaBall Golf tournament actually golfing, when he’s usually the one running the fundraisers! And, it’s always fun to make Stanford connections out in the world… this time it was former San Francisco 49er, Toi Cook! No big deal!

HUGE congratulations to Vern who sold out his first-ever celebrity golf tournament. I’m honored to have been a part of it!

I’m well on my way to hitting my $1Million mark for kids with cancer, and I hope you’ll help me get there! As always, if you want to donate to my fundraiser to help St. Jude’s global fight, via the research and treatment protocols they share freely with institutions worldwide, you can do that here.

Thank you for your support!
