PUBLIC SPEAKING WHILE I'M HOME FOR SPRING BREAK
I’m home for a couple days for spring break, and I was lucky enough to visit two local schools to talk about the importance of engaging in the world and creating change, starting from a young age! My first stop was Grant Elementary in Novato, care of the amazing Josh Evans, my middle school leadership teacher! I was honored to speak to students in grades 3-6 about mentorship, open-mindedness, and perseverance in making a difference.
Next, I went back to one of my favorite places to speak: Mill Valley Middle School. Thanks to Chris Hill for having me back and speak to this awesome cohort of 6th graders who are about to research young change makers and (hopefully) get inspired to start their own projects. And of course, I’m always sharing my St. Jude story, and Liv’s story, and hopefully inspiring some kids (and parents) to support the lifesaving work at St. Jude before I head back to school.
As always, if you want to donate to my fundraiser for St. Jude, you can do that here.
Thank you for your support!
