THANK YOU TO KPIX FOR THE JEFFERSON AWARD!

I was honored to attend the KPIX Jefferson Award / Multiplying Good Awards Ceremony on Friday in San Francisco! It was inspiring to be in a room filled with ordinary people who have been doing extraordinary volunteer work of all kinds throughout the Bay Area. Go here if you haven’t already seen the KPIX story on Juggling for Jude from when I was nominated for this award last summer. KPIX reporter Sharon Chin did an amazing job of capturing my story!

I’m grateful to Sharon, the leadership at KPIX, and the Multiplying Good organization for highlighting these important stories of people doing good in the world. It was empowering to be the youngest awardee in the room at the ceremony, and I loved meeting some of the leaders paving the way for young people like me. It was an extra bonus to get so see my good friend Vern Glenn, who even gave me a tour of the KPIX studios! So cool!
