ST. JUDE MIRACLES ON THE BAY GALA 2024

Last weekend, I had the honor of bringing some friends from my Stanford community to the Miracles on the Bay Gala to witness the impact of St. Jude and hear about one of the hospital’s groundbreaking treatments from Dr. Thomas Merchant, Chair of the Department of Radiation and Oncology. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we heard from St. Jude survivor and patient speaker, Gideon, whose life was saved by doctors at St. Jude when he was just three. It was great to reconnect with some of St. Jude’s biggest Bay Area supporters, including Mickelina from Race to Research; Kris Mulkey from In-Shape; the incredible women, Kerstin and Sandra, who chair this hugely successful annual event; and so many other inspiring people.
